Job Summary
Provides executive leadership and strategic oversight of the Company's revenue growth strategy, including enterprise sales, go-to-market execution, pricing, customer growth, and market expansion initiatives. Leads the development and alignment of revenue strategies, performance measures, and organizational capabilities that drive profitable organic growth, strengthen market position, and support long-term business objectives. Acts as a visible enterprise leader, fostering strong customer relationships, cross-functional alignment, and a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous growth. Represents the Company in a professional and positive manner, safeguarding our reputation, while demonstrating a focus on the safety. Follows and enforces established policies, procedures and practices.
Primary Responsibilities
- Owns the enterprise go-to-market strategy and revenue operating model, aligning sales, pricing, customer growth, market expansion, and priorities to achieve long-term business objectives.
- Owns the geographic and verticals sales strategies, operational plans, and processes, based on unique market needs, that achieve revenue targets.
- Sets short- and long-term sales targets in partnership with leadership and Finance to ensure alignment with business objectives and strategies.
- Leverages data and technology to set key metrics, measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance.
- Manages budgets and allocations in partnership with leadership to optimize investments.
- Analyzes the business environment to understand competitors, as well as retain and expand the customer base.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify market needs and develop strategies that drive a profitable balanced book of business.
- Develops data-driven pricing strategies and continually monitors to ensure competitiveness, profitability, and close rates.
- Demonstrates and applies detailed knowledge of services offered across all business lines.
- Applies industry knowledge and best practices to shape strategies that deliver results.
- Safeguards sensitive customer, employee, and company information, demonstrating integrity and respect for confidentiality.
- Leads a team (2+ FTEs), setting clear expectations, developing talent, recognizing contributions, and fostering an inclusive, respectful environment.
- Assesses and manages individual and team performance, holding self and others accountable to high standards and business outcomes.
- Cultivates teamwork and engagement, promoting collaboration and service excellence to deliver results for customers and the business.
Additional Responsibilities
- Fosters relationships with existing accounts and identifies business opportunities to upsell and cross-sell all Marsden business line services/products to current and new businesses.
- Partners with EVP of Business and Brand Strategy on marketing programs and collateral development.
- Partners with Operations on strategic and aligned responses to quotes and proposals.
- Participate actively in the Governance Council by providing meaningful insight and perspectives on company-wide strategies and initiatives.
- Owns sales training, onboarding, and sales leadership development with Talent Management consultation and partnership.
- Partners with CHRO and VP of Total Rewards to continuously evaluate and enhance Sales compensation and recognition programs.
- Ensures appropriate administrative and operational controls are maintained to support business performance, compliance, and accountability.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, trains, and manages employees, in accordance with company guidelines and processes, to build and maintain a high-performing team.
- Owns talent succession and development, in partnership with Human Resources, to ensure bench strength equipped to meet business needs.
- Communicates and ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures, and addresses non-compliance in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience required. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales or business development in commercial janitorial, facilities services, or similar service-based industry.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing long-term business strategies.
- Managing and leading a distributed sales team.

- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and business systems as required.

- Ability to travel 50%-75%.
