About the role
We're looking for a Head of Business Operations to be the strategic and operational right hand to Omio's leadership team. Reporting to the CFO and partnering closely with the CEO, you'll lead the company's most important, least-defined challenges, bring structure to them and turn them into measurable results.
This role bridges strategy and execution. One quarter you might be sizing a strategic partnership or an acquisition; the next you're streamlining how we operate to unlock efficiency and growth. You'll run our planning and operating rhythm, lead a small team of Business Operations Managers, and work across every function to turn data into decisions.
What you'll do
- Be a thought partner to the CFO, the CEO and the wider leadership team on our biggest strategic priorities
- Drive operational excellence across the business, spotting where we can run smarter and leading the improvements
- Identify, scope and launch new initiatives, and own them from business case to delivery
- Assess and build strategic partnerships, lead go-to-market for major launches, and support M&A where needed
- Run annual and quarterly planning and OKRs, plus the operating rhythm: leadership meetings, business reviews and KPI tracking
- Turn core business metrics into clear recommendations, and find cost and efficiency wins
- Bring a test-and-learn approach: run experiments, measure impact and scale what works
- Lead, coach and grow a team of 2 Business Operations Managers
What you'll bring
- 10+ years of experience: several years in top-tier management consulting or investment banking, followed by a leading role in strategy, business operations or general management roles in a tech company, marketplace or high-growth business
- Experience working directly with executive teams in ambiguous, unstructured situations
- Strong analytical and commercial judgement: you break down complex problems and turn data into clear decisions
- A track record of leading large, cross-functional initiatives from idea to measurable result
- Experience building strategic partnerships or leading a major launch
- Hands-on data skills with SQL, Looker, Tableau or similar tools
- Experience leading and developing a small team of high performers
- Excellent communication and storytelling in English, including to executives and boards
- Independent and proactive: you take ownership and raise the bar wherever you go
What’s in it for you? This role is based on-site at Omio's modern and friendly head office in Warschauer Platz, offering a great environment to grow your career alongside like-minded professionals.
Key benefits include:
- Annual travel benefits to support your adventures and align with our mission.

- Employee Assistance Program offering mental health support and resources.
- A pet-friendly office, so you can bring your furry friends to work.
