Meath Care is seeking an accomplished and commercially astute Chief Financial Officer to lead its finance function and help shape the organisation’s next phase of growth and sustainability. With the incumbent CFO planning to retire, this is a rare opportunity to build on solid foundations, strengthen financial capability and introduce fresh thinking, innovation and contemporary approaches to organisational performance.
Meath Care is a long-established Western Australian not-for-profit aged and community services provider. Its portfolio includes two residential aged care facilities with 259 beds, three retirement villages comprising approximately 180 independent living units, and home-care services. Based at the Greenwood office, you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and lead a finance team of 8 employees.
You will provide strategic financial leadership, safeguard financial integrity and drive sustainable performance. You will oversee governance, reporting, compliance, budgeting and planning while strengthening forecasting, scenario modelling, financial analytics and business intelligence. Working closely with the CEO, Executive Team, Board and operational leaders, you will translate financial and operational data into practical insight, improve systems and processes, and support confident strategic and commercial decision-making.
You are an established CFO with experience leading finance in a complex organisation, supported by relevant professional accounting qualifications. Aged care experience is highly preferred; experience in disability services or a closely related health, community or human services environment will also be considered. You will bring strong governance and risk capability, commercial judgement, executive and Board-level influence, a record of developing finance teams, and an improvement-focused approach to technology, automation and reporting.
