The Position:
As Chief Financial Officer, you will play a pivotal role as part of the Executive Leadership Team, guiding the organisation’s financial sustainability, governance and long‑term strategy. This position offers both strategic influence and hands‑on engagement in a purpose‑driven environment.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead financial strategy, planning and analysis to support organisational sustainability and growth.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely management and statutory reports.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Manage financial audits, treasury, accounting, tax, procurement and commercial activities.
- Provide high‑quality financial advice to the CEO and Board.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with regulators, auditors, financial institutions and key external stakeholders.
- Strengthen internal financial systems, controls and risk management frameworks.
- Contribute to organisation‑wide strategy as a key member of the leadership team.
About You:
You are a values‑driven senior finance leader with proven experience operating at Executive or CFO level. You bring sound judgement, commercial acumen and a collaborative leadership style. You will also possess:
- CPA / CA qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong technical knowledge of financial, accounting, audit and compliance practices.
- Experience within the Aged Care Sector is essential.
- Proven experience leading finance transformation and change initiatives that drive organisation‑wide impact.
- Demonstrated ability to elevate board‑level financial reporting, delivering clear, transparent insights that engage and guide the Board through complex financial narratives.
- High‑level analytical and problem‑solving capability.
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands‑on when required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
- A leadership approach grounded in integrity, respect and accountability.
