We're a mission-led financial technology startup aimed at helping small and medium businesses. Our primary product is Early Pay: technology-enabled invoice financing that delivers critical cash flow to help businesses operate more efficiently. To date, we’ve paid over $1B to over 2,000+ businesses.
We’re early stage.
That means you will have a significant impact on the business’s trajectory, as well as the opportunity to participate in equity ownership when the company’s valuation still has LOTS of room to grow. You’ll also gain experience in an early-stage venture-backed company, working closely with leaders who helped build and scale fintech products at companies like Google, Honey (acq. by PayPal), Amazon, and Affirm.
We're well funded (and profitable)
We’ve raised significant capital from top tier venture investors and have several years of runway. With the launch of exciting new platform partnerships, we’re in a very good position to continue growing at a healthy pace - which is where you come in!
About your role:
We are looking for a technical and execution-oriented individual to help build and run revenue operations at Mesa, an embedded fintech company expanding access to working capital for small and medium sized businesses.
This is a hands-on role for someone resourceful who enjoys solving problems, digging into data and operational details, and improving the systems and processes that help the business grow.
Given the lean nature of our team, you will have a unique opportunity to learn from and work cross-functionally with GTM, Finance, Product, Risk, and Engineering to manage day-to-day execution and build long-term solutions.
Your work will support both the development of new platform partnerships as well as the operation and scaling of our existing partnerships. You will work closely with our Sales team to drive revenue growth by accelerating the adoption and utilization of Mesa’s Early Pay products by suppliers.
What you will do:
- Own our CRM and connected GTM systems, including pipeline stages, workflows, integrations, and data quality, ensuring the team has reliable tools and information to execute
- Own the data underpinning our GTM efforts, including aggregating, understanding and synthesizing large datasets (eg lead lists, pre-qualification data) from various sources, enabling Sales to focus in the right places
- Support supplier activation and ongoing usage through customer segmentation, campaign tracking, and automated follow-up workflows
- Build, automate, and enhance reporting across the revenue lifecycle, including partner acquisition, supplier enrollment, first funding, repeat usage, and revenue growth
- Manage pipeline reporting and support forecasting with GTM and Finance, connecting commercial opportunities and customer activity to expected funding volume and revenue
- Analyze conversion, engagement, and retention to identify where partners and suppliers get stuck, and work with internal teams to implement and measure improvements
- Improve handoffs across GTM, Product, Risk, and Operations, helping ensure new partnerships and supplier relationships move efficiently from signed agreement to launch and first funding
- Develop partner scorecards and recurring business reviews that make performance clear, surface growth opportunities, and help prioritize commercial efforts
- Document processes, maintain playbooks, and train internal users on systems and workflows to reduce manual work and improve consistency as the business scales
What we look for:
- 5+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, GTM operations, or a related function, preferably within fintech, lending, payments, or B2B financial services
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on experience administering a CRM (ideally HubSpot), including building workflows, managing data, and implementing integrations
- Strong analytical skills and excellent proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with experience building dashboards, forecasts, and actionable business reporting
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, and AI-enabled productivity and workflow automation tools is a strong plus
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into practical systems and processes, and drive cross-functional projects from problem identification through implementation
- Strong attention to detail, ownership mentality, and eagerness to live in the details
- Bias for action and ability to bring the right level of rigor while operating with ambiguity and balancing competing priorities
- Ability to translate complex commercial and customer data into clear, executive-level insights, with strong intuition around funnel conversion, customer utilization, retention, and unit economics
