This is an on-site role based in the northern Atlanta metro area.
We have been engaged to conduct a Chief Financial Officer search for an established, family-owned business serving commercial and industrial customers. The company provides essential products, parts, and services to a broad customer base and has a long history of strong customer relationships.
Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will serve as a strategic and operating partner as the company enters its next stage of growth. In addition to leading finance and accounting, the CFO will strengthen FP&A and management reporting, improve visibility into profitability and working capital, enhance systems and processes, and support acquisition activity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Significant progressive financial leadership experience, including experience as a CFO or senior finance executive within a growing middle-market organization. Experience within a distribution, manufacturing, industrial products, business services or similarly operationally complex environment.
- Experience working successfully within a privately held and/or family-owned business environment is highly desirable.
- Broad accounting and finance expertise, including financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow, working capital, controls, tax and treasury. Strong financial planning and analysis capabilities, with demonstrated ability to translate financial and operating data into actionable business insights. Experience in tax planning and compliance.
- Experience supporting M&A, including financial evaluation, due diligence and integration.
