Chief Financial Officer
Hybrid position - Local to Atlanta area preferred
$300-350k plus 30-50% bonus and future equity
Bell & Associates is partnering with a growing privately-held healthcare organization seeking a CFO to join their Executive Leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all accounting and finance operations, including financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, and revenue cycle.
- Develop and execute financial strategies that support the organization’s operational and long-term objectives.
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning processes.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership and ownership.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes.
- Oversee revenue cycle performance, including billing, collections, reimbursement, and accounts receivable.
- Lead and develop the accounting and finance team, including hiring and building out key positions as needed.
- Partner with operational leadership to improve financial performance, cost management, and business processes.
- Provide financial modeling and analysis to support capital investments, strategic initiatives, and business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and financial policies.
- Serve as a key financial partner to ownership and the executive leadership team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred.
- Significant accounting and finance leadership experience, preferably in a multi-location healthcare environment.
- Healthcare experience required, with demonstrated experience overseeing revenue cycle operations.
- Medicare, Medicaid, Hospice, or Nursing Home exp preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and build high-performing teams.
- Experience implementing and improving accounting processes, controls, and reporting infrastructure.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with ownership, senior leadership, and operational teams.
- Hands-on, results-oriented leader who can balance strategic financial leadership with day-to-day operational execution.
