About the Role
BrightCell Logistics is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – LATAM to lead regional financial management and contribute to the company's financial strength and business performance.
We are looking for a finance leader with experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or third-party logistics (3PL), supported by a strong background in controllership. This role combines strategic financial leadership with direct involvement in financial operations, performance analysis, and resource optimization.
The CFO will play a key role in strengthening financial controls, providing reliable insights for decision-making, and improving profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency in close collaboration with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional financial management, including accounting, controllership, and executive financial reporting.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure efficient use of financial resources.
- Identify opportunities to improve margins, optimize costs, and enhance profitability.
- Strengthen controllership processes, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information.
- Partner with senior leadership and operational teams to evaluate business performance and support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and management tools.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of finance experience, with a strong track record in Controller, Financial Controller, or Regional Controller roles.
- Proven experience in logistics, freight transportation, warehousing, distribution, or third-party logistics (3PL) companies.
- Strong expertise in controllership, accounting, financial close, consolidation, and management reporting.
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, working capital, and profitability analysis.
- Experience managing regional, multinational, or multi-entity financial operations.
- Knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and ERP systems.
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification preferred, ideally active in the United States.
