What You’ll Bring
MUST HAVE
- PROS Smart CPQ — hands-on architecture and delivery experience is a significant plus.
- PROS Price Optimization & Management (PO&M) — experience linking CPQ with pricing optimisation is a real differentiator.
- Other CPQ platforms — familiarity with Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Oracle CPQ, or comparable enterprise CPQ tools.
- Sector knowledge — background in medical devices, healthcare manufacturing, or other capital-equipment-heavy industries.
- Transformation track record — hands-on involvement in legacy CPQ migrations, platform modernisation, or enterprise-wide CPQ transformation programmes.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 12–15+ years in enterprise technology, including deep hands-on solution architecture experience.
- A minimum of 5 years architecting and implementing CPQ solutions, ideally on large, complex, multi-country transformation programmes.
- Deep knowledge of CPQ product modelling, configuration logic, pricing engines, discounting structures, approval workflows, and quote-to-order processes.
- A track record of designing and delivering integrations connecting CPQ platforms with CRM, ERP, pricing, and contract management systems.
- Solid grounding in APIs, middleware, data modelling, enterprise architecture, security, performance tuning, and scalability.
- Proven capability to lead technical teams, take independent architectural decisions, and steer solution delivery end to end.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
