One of Europe's leading early stage Investors are looking to add a CFO to their team.
Someone who can level up on their current approach to fund finance fundamentals.
What specific outcomes are they looking for you to achieve?
- Establish strategy/systems/structures that can handle the complexity and pressure of £500M+ in AUM.
- Improve the strategic planning on deployment, reserve and returns management. Including funding and liquidity options as well as management of third-party providers in the process.
- Ensure the table stakes for finance, operations, and compliance are consistently met and managed whilst delivering change, whilst requiring minimal guidance from investment partners.
- Embody the funds culture and provide strong firm-wide leadership.
A bit about you.
- You’re an experienced fund management professional who has either worked in a small, early-stage VC firm or established PE firm with several funds under management as a CFO or Finance Director. Giving you deep visibility into all aspects of a full fund lifecycle.
- You enjoy an ambiguous, at times fast-moving work environment, but are equally content operating in a steadier state managing long-term projects and ongoing work.
- You’re able to work as a respected peer and challenger to Partners, and with gravitas when collaborating with investors, LPs and the wider VC ecosystem.
- You conduct yourself with ethics, integrity, maturity, and kindness. Being honest, transparent, and conscientious is just who you are.
- You probably have high expectations of yourself and are keen and able to take responsibility for your personal and professional development.
