At NexusTek, we offer exciting opportunities for IT professionals. The Deal Desk Representative is a sales operations role, responsible for pursuing leads from Business Partners and internally generated leads along with supporting the regional sales teams by handling scheduled third party renewals (e.g., maintenance/support renewals), and other duties as assigned. This position is designed to operate with speed and accuracy to demonstrate industry leading responsiveness to our Business Partners and colleagues.
You know how to:
- Quickly respond to incoming leads efficiently, addressing requests or questions about products or services as they come.
- Make initial contact with potential customers via phone, email, or virtual meetings.
- Engage with prospects to understand their needs and introduce them to NexusTek’s products and services.
- Handle straightforward inquiries or needs independently.
- Escalate more complex requests to the regional team.
- Assist with qualifying leads through partners, calls, emailing, and online research.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of leads in the CRM system (e.g., ConnectWise).
- Follow up on leads that have been provided, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Manage the sales cycle for smaller or less complex deals.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts as needed, ensuring all transactions follow company policies.
- Close deals efficiently without reliance on other team members unless escalation is required.
Provide feedback based on customer interactions that could help improve sales strategies or customer service.
Required skills and Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, ideally in a B2B or B2C environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Basic understanding of the sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (e.g., ConnectWise, CPQ).
A motivated, goal-oriented attitude with a desire to learn and grow in sales
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, sales support, or sales internships.
Ability to manage simple requests independently and escalate complex issues when needed
Benefits and Pay:
This is a full-time position located in the United States and performed remotely with some travel.
Estimated Starting Salary/Wage Range: $25.00 -$27.00 hourly , less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis (The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure [for existing employees] skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role. Note that the majority of individuals in the position will fall in the low to mid-level of this scale; the upper end of this pay scale is offered only in exceptional circumstances and/or for unusually qualified candidates.)
