About The Role
The Deal Desk is a key pillar of the Customer Value Operations team. This role collaborates closely with members of the Revenue Operations team, as well as with Sales and Customer Value leadership, to accelerate and standardize sales execution. It serves as an important catalyst for growth, retention, and customer value generation.
Based in the Berlin headquarters, the Deal Desk acts as a central hub, connecting the extended sales team with internal departments such as Legal, Finance, and Sales Engineering. As a Deal Desk Working Student, you will support the entire Sales team with their opportunities. You will assist in advancing and closing deals, provide guidance, allocate necessary resources, and contribute expertise to support the team at every stage of the sales cycle.
The role and your impact at the team
- Assist the sales team in deal-closing activities, including the creation of offers and Statements of Work (SOW), as well as identifying upsell opportunities.
- Update and organize sales assets, ensuring they are accessible, current, and aligned with product marketing initiatives (e.g., decks, RFPs).
- Ensure all offers comply with the delegation of authority and adhere to established guidelines, providing supporting documentation for approval by sellers.
- Collaborate with the legal team to ensure legal documentation, quotes, and agreements accurately reflect the latest offerings and terms.
- Verify pricing accuracy and guide on incorporating it into customer offers and quotes.
- Support renewal processes by working closely with Legal, Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams.
You will fit great with the following skills and qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled as a student at a university or university of applied sciences, preferably in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or related fields.
- Experience: First experience in Sales or Sales Operations is a plus but not required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Additional languages, such as German or French, are a plus but not required.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, flexibility, motivation to adapt, and a commitment to follow through and complete tasks.
