The Americas Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) team plays an essential role in translating Microsoft’s Commercial Strategy into a local execution plan and driving operational excellence to achieve the greatest results possible. Our team drives insight and execution excellence, bringing strategy and priorities to life by accelerating the pace of transformation and enabling Microsoft to deliver business impact on a scale.
Within SE&O, the Americas Business & Sales Operations (BSO) team is looking for a Sales Operations Program Manager focused on Incentive Compensation/Quota. You will support incentive compensation across Microsoft Americas by amplifying programs and building repeatable processes to recognize and reward employees for driving business results. You will also oversee the process for escalations, identify common themes/causes and remove blockers. You will manage, capture, triage, action and communicate internal Americas incentive compensation issues and opportunities. In this role, you will actively engage in other incentive compensation processes including Awards, Contests and Quota management. While focused on incentive compensation/quota, you will partner closely with other BSO teams that lead processes for Segmentation, Territory Design, Employee Data, Employee Assignment and Revenue Excellence.

Enable more efficient and effective landing of incentive compensation & quota

Lead Americas internal incentive compensation escalation processes and meetings from intake to closure

Triage and research issues using data to validate asks, outline options, define recommendations and drive closure within milestones

Proactively and reactively engage on key issues and asks to identify and remove blockers

Communicate decisions and amplify insights/learnings via: emails, articles, integrated SharePoint pages, presentations, templates, scripts, talking points, Learning Day sessions, etc.

Partner with WorldWide and SE&O to land incentive compensation with field so that they understand the why, how, what and when

Refine incentive comp/quota process for continuous improvement, automation and innovation ensuring agility in delivering results while consistently maintaining and improving quality with governance

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Accounting, Information Systems, Social Sciences or related field AND 2+ years experience in sales operations, project management, analytics, compensation, sales performance analytics, finance/business analyst, process improvement, business development, consulting, finance, marketing, or a related field

OR equivalent experience.

2+ years of experience in ANY combination of the following: lead, drive, execute sales process enablement, sales excellence, sales field reporting, sales operations programs, including but not limited to Quota Distribution, Quota Management, Revenue Excellence, Segmentation & Account Management, Employee Assignment, Territory Modeling, Annual Planning, Incentive Compensation, and Awards.

2+ years of technical experience in data-related modeling/display solutions, including but not limited to Power BI, Excel, Tableau, or related
Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Accounting, Information Systems, Social Sciences or related field AND 3+ years experience in sales operations, project management, analytics, compensation, sales performance analytics, finance/business analyst, process improvement, business development, consulting, finance, marketing, or a related field

3+years experience on using data to work on complex projects with multiple stakeholders with different priorities with proven ability to bring forward a solution to drive impact

Understanding of compensation principles, Microsoft solutions, sales processes and revenue systems

Sales Operations IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $75,100 - $148,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $98,800 - $163,300 per year.
