Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-oriented and strategic Senior Manager, Sales Operations focused on post-sale processes and systems that span Onboarding, Customer Success, Renewals, Technical Support, and Professional Services functions. In this critical role, you will directly impact our ability to forecast our business, grow revenue, enhance customer experience, and optimize our day-to-day operations. This role sits within the global Core Sales Operations team, which is accountable for lead-to-revenue processes and systems at MongoDB, your contributions to this team will be instrumental in shaping the future of the go-to-market organization.
Responsibilities:
- Own vision for post-sale operations process and systems strategy, driving operational excellence across customer lifecycle to help the organization realize its objectives
- Work across go-to-market, business analytics teams, and product to drive programs that enhance the ability to measure customer health, risk, and opportunity for expansion
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks that ensure processes are consistently followed and properly controlled. Develop steering committees and working groups to oversee adherence and performance
- Act as a conduit sitting between go-to-market stakeholders and CRM-Tech teams. Ensure consistency on overall strategic goals, standards, and objectives for each planning cycle. Design and develop a global internal tool ecosystem that is scalable and flexible
- Delve deep into processes and underlying data, identifying root causes and framing business problems. Propose and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including the rest of the Sales Operations, CRM-Tech, IT Infrastructure, Customer Success, Renewals, Technical Services, Professional Services, Solution Architecture, GTM Center of Excellence, and Product teams to drive results and ensure alignment across the organization
- Facilitate regular leadership updates with key stakeholders to review process performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with Enablement to plan large-scale business transformations, rollouts, and adoption of new process
- Build and scale the global team that supports the process and systems across post-sale and bottom of funnel functions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7-8 years of relevant experience in sales operations, revenue operations, customer success operations, sales systems, or related fields
- Execution-driven mindset with a focus on achieving tangible results
- Proven track record of successfully driving change and optimizing processes
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to gain consensus on priority and communicate progress and results
- Strong organizational and strategic planning skills, with a keen orientation towards managing ‘Sales Operations as a product’ for go-to-market
- Deep experience with CRM systems and tools; experience with Salesforce and Gainsight preferred
- Experience working in consumption/pay-as-you-go business model is highly desirable
- Managerial experience is required

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:
$109,000—$215,000 USD
