Job Description:
Position: Sr Specialist, NA Sales Operations
Position Reports to: Customer Development Director – North America
Department: Sales
Location: New York City – Hybrid (1 day in office)
The salary range for this role, based in New York, is US $ 90,000 to US $110,000.

Job Overview:
The Sales Operations Senior Specialist plays a key role in optimizing and supporting the overall sales strategy at Lifestyles.
This individual will work closely with sales leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to enhance sales performance and streamline operational processes.
The role requires a blend of analytical expertise, project management, and cross-departmental collaboration to drive operational efficiency and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as a liaison between the company and customers, brokers, and Public Sector partners, ensuring alignment on business objectives and shared goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and channels, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Lead customer asset management. Manage uploading of images and packaging data (ingredients, specs etc.) to retailer databases that will be used to display our products in stores and on retailer.com’s.
Sales Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities to streamline sales processes and improve efficiency through automation or new tools.
- Develop and maintain sales playbooks, standard operating procedures, and best practice guidelines.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory weeks of supply (WOS), and retail packaging updates.
- Work with the sales team to continuously refine sales strategies and processes.
- Support sales forecasting by managing monthly forecast inputs in the forecasting tool, generating reports, and providing ad hoc analyses for Sales Directors and Chief Commercial Officer
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Global Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Tech and Operations teams to ensure the seamless execution of customer programs.
- Coordinate with marketing to ensure effective sales enablement, including the development of sales collateral, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate pricing, discounts, and contracts.
- Resolve customer issues related to order fulfillment, inventory concerns, and pricing discrepancies.
Project Management:
- Support projects related to product launches, packaging updates, pricing adjustments, trade shows and ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
- Manage pricing and product specification files in Power BI for internal departments and customer-facing price sheets.
Sales Training & Support:
- Partner with sales leadership to develop training programs and onboarding materials for new sales hires.
- Ensure the sales team is equipped with the resources and information they need to succeed in the field.
- Represent NA customer interests in internal planning and strategy meetings.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of consumer goods sales operations, business operations, or sales management within a consumer products company.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required. An MBA is a plus.
- Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders. Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to build relationships across departments and work collaboratively with global cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of consumer products industry trends and market dynamics.
- General manager mindset – a proactive solutions-oriented mindset, who collaborates, communicates, and escalates roadblocks and takes ownership of initiatives.
- Forward thinking and curious about retail customer and sales leads needs.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, agile culture and embraces ambiguity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Nielsen, Power BI
