Financial Services and Technology firm seeking a Revenue Operations Manger with Financial Services experience to serve in a multi-disciplinary role overseeing revenue accounting, client billing, and transformation efforts. The firm's revenue group focuses on streamlining the order-to-cash cycle, automation, and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams in finance and technology.
Job Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
o Lead a high-performing team of revenue accounting and billing professionals, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
o Mentor and develop team members, ensuring the alignment of individual goals with organizational objectives.
Revenue Operations Oversight
o Oversee the end-to-end revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
o Drive the timely and accurate execution of monthly client billing processes, optimizing accuracy and efficiency.
• Strategic Collaboration
o Collaborate with business, legal, and technology teams to interpret complex contracts, ensuring accurate billing and revenue recognition.
• Governance and Compliance
o Maintain strong internal controls, ensuring SOX compliance and adherence to company policies.
o Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits, ensuring timely delivery of required documentation.
• Process Innovation and Automation
o Champion process improvements, identifying opportunities to automate and streamline revenue and billing workflows.
o Lead transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
Financial Reconciliation and Analysis
o Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
o Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting, providing insights to address business challenges and opportunities
Qualifications
• BA/BS degree preferably in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Skilled accountant (CPA, or equivalent) preferred
• Expert knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Experience with analytics tools such as Alteryx and or Tableau preferred
• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
