Summary
As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the operational success of our Product Categories within the Canadian market. This position involves a broad range of activities, from coordinating and supporting the setup of new products to managing pricing systems for various product divisions and retail partners. Working closely with Product Marketing Managers, you will ensure seamless introduction and ongoing management of our product lineup, contributing to meeting our goals.
Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
Core responsibilities – Day to day execution.
NPI:
- Collaborate directly with Product Marketing Managers to submit Annual Plan requirements for new models.
- Manage the project timeline of new product launches to ensure on-time launch dates are fulfilled. Ensuring completion of milestones are registered in the NPI tracking tool.
- Confirm product specifications, key features, and ensure product & lifestyle images, as well as necessary translations, are completed and published accurately, including UPC and HS Codes in our Midea internal systems (92 code completion).
- Be the person in charge at MACC for new product launch discussions with PD and Marketing teams and ensure submission of necessary assets (e.g., artwork for packaging, user manuals) for new product setups.
- Support PMs with the creation of MACC specification sheets, line step up logic, and PowerPoint slides for both internal and external use.
Sales Operations:
- In partnership with the Sales Operations team, create and maintain up-to-date price lists.
- Maintain pricing up to date to be able to process Purchase Orders, both PPL and Quotation, to enter PR to our factories, by creating the necessary entries in the system to avoid expiration and collaborating with Product Managers to identify potential necessary changes or adjustments.
- Assist the Operations & Supply Chain team and Product Managers, troubleshooting and preventing PO, PR, production, and logistic issues, ensuring smooth operational flow.
Strategic responsibilities -
Product Management:
- Support Product Managers in preparing for Product Line Reviews (PLRs) by conducting in-store assortment audits and retailer line logic analysis, identifying gap opportunities for PLRs.
- Manage the sample flow for new SKUs, including logistics for samples needed for listing opportunities or PLR activities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to Innovation Centers or retailer warehouses.
- When going through the quotation submission process, assist Product Managers with Value Chain (VC) reviews and updates when required.
Business Intelligence & Digitalization
- Contribute ideas for process improvement, tool development, or automation to enhance operational efficiency to support on-time product launch.
- Assist the digitalization team providing data-related needs to support data preparation and submission to AHAM or Eco-fee Stewardship entities, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Over 1~2 years in a sales analyst, product manager assistant, or sales operations role for the consumer goods industry, preferably major appliances.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Retail Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and/or Finance business processes is a plus.
- Superior Excel, PowerPoint, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Being conscientious, organized, responsible, ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
