Who’ll You Be Joining:
We’re looking for a Senior Sales Operations Analyst to support our rapidly growing Sales Enablement team. In this role, you will help build tools and create processes that enable our Retail sales organization. Working with teams across Marketing, Sales, Finance, and BI, you will turn data into insights and create scalable solutions to help drive sell-through with our professional distribution and retail customers. You will support our Channel Marketing team to provide analysis on trade marketing ROI, demand forecasting, 3P selling, competitive & market activity.
We are looking for a motivated collaborator who uses data and storytelling to enable good decision making. Someone who can look holistically at the systems, data, and processes at ecobee and our customers, and optimize these processes to create valuable business outcomes.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- S&OP – actively participate in the demand planning cycle with the sales & operational teams, work with the teams to identify trends and insights contributing to changes in consumer demand and how they should be reflected in customer specific & aggregated demand plans.
- Promotional planning and analysis – create & deliver ROI analysis for all price & co-marketing promotions, communicate cross-channel conflicts, lead post-promotion reconciliation & analysis
- Tools, insight & data management – become an internal specialist on customer data ingestion, visualization and business intelligence tools ensuring a high level of data hygiene
- Develop customer level insight to help improve sales velocity
- Market data & competitive analysis – use internal and external tools to analyze market level & store level cannibalization, promotional impacts, competitor activity, and general market insight
- Customer management – take a key role in onboarding new customers, launching new products, project managing internal system setup, providing key customer supply information to Ops team, and collaborating with our business systems team for EDI setup
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- You have progressive years of experience in sales analytics
- You have worked directly with customers/partners in a B2B and/or B2C environment. Experience with 2-step distribution, wholesale, or professional contractor/installers is a bonus
- You can demonstrate strong project management skills, being able to manage multiple initiatives concurrently
- You have a keen interest in process, enablement, managing data and crafting stories with it
- You can demonstrate strong analytical skills in forecasting and program ROI measurement
- You have experience with various software including Business Intelligence (BI), data visualization tools, CRM, Sales analytics tools. Experience with both Power BI and SalesForce is preferred
- You are comfortable operating in a lean environment and skilled at prioritization

Generac is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role based in Toronto, ON is $80,500 - $100,600 CAD. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives.
This position includes a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans; life, long-term disability, flexible spending and health savings accounts, accrued paid time off, paid Holidays (10 for Ontario, 11 for British Columbia) and RRSP retirement benefits.
