Exploring the role:
- RateGain is looking for a driven and experienced professional with a passion for optimizing sales operations and driving revenue growth.
How your day will look like/Job responsibility:
- Sales Funnel Tracking: Provide coaching and support to the sales team to track the sales funnel and related operational metrics, delivering regular insights to the business.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze and monitor sales results, providing advice and insights to enhance sales effectiveness.
- Sales Strategy Implementation: Support and coordinate the implementation of new sales strategies and initiatives to deliver improved results.
- Adoption of Sales Tools: Drive the adoption of sales reporting and business intelligence tools to empower the sales team with actionable data.
- Training and Process Updates: Provide regular updates and ad hoc training on processes, tools, and reports to ensure the sales team is well equipped and informed.
- Data Oversight: Oversee all the data and processes that enable effective sales processes and management.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to identify trends, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide actionable insights to the sales team.
- Database Management: Build, maintain, and enhance a robust and accurate sales database, ensuring data integrity and usability for business insights.
- Onboarding Tools & Tech Stack: Leverage expertise in onboarding sales tools and technology, ensuring optimal integration and adoption within the GTM tech stack.
- Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the executive team and sales leadership to develop and implement effective sales strategies, tactics, and plans.
- Sales Forecasting: Develop and maintain sales forecasting models to provide accurate and timely sales projections.
- CRM Management: Administer and manage the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure data accuracy and system optimization.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of sales operations professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and professional development.
- Process Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation of sales processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, finance, and customer success to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
Education & Work Experience:
- B-Tech with 6–8 years of experience or MBA with 3–4 years of experience (maximum 10 years).
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of onboarding and integrating tools into the GTM tech stack to drive operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of the travel and hospitality industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in sales technology and software applications.
Skills:
- Proven experience in sales operations, with a minimum of 1.5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with proficiency in CRM systems and data analytics tools.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining databases for effective sales and business operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
