About the Role:
Barstool Sports is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sr. Director of Revenue Operations to lead and oversee our Planning, Pricing, and Ad Operations teams while driving alignment across our Sales and Marketing teams. Reporting directly to our Chief Financial Officer, the ideal candidate has extensive experience in digital media and a proven track record of optimizing sales processes, managing ad operations, and implementing successful revenue strategies. You will be a key member of the team playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s revenue strategy.
The
Sr. Director of Revenue Operations will play a critical role in shaping and managing the company’s revenue strategy. This person will lead and develop internal revenue operations strategies while also working directly with ad partners to execute and deploy these plans effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Utilizing internal and industry best practices, you will be responsible for the continuous improvement and execution of Barstool’s pricing, packaging strategy and delivery in order to optimize revenue opportunities across Barstool’s multiple franchises.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Content, Production, and broader Finance teams to ensure alignment on revenue goals and initiatives to manage inventory and maximize yield.
- Identify business needs and drive the implementation of processes and tools to streamline workflow efficiency, campaign tracking, and reporting.
- Evaluate and recommend new revenue streams and ad products, ensuring our pricing strategy adapts to industry trends.
- Develop detailed driver-based models used to forecast digital ad revenue by channel, aligning with company-wide goals.
- Lead the development of competitive pricing models for ad inventory across all platforms (digital, podcast, video, social, and events).
- Serve as a key stakeholder in optimizing operational processes and enhancing the tech stack to support internal and external reporting.
- Grow and lead a high-performing team that embodies Barstool’s culture emphasizing speed, credibility, accuracy and innovation across the company.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in sales operations, ad operations, revenue strategy, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in digital media, advertising, and the broader ad tech landscape.
- Proven track record of building scalable processes that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
- Advanced skills in platforms such as Salesforce, Order Management Systems and Excel. Other data visualization language skills are a plus.
- Exceptional, results-driven, and focused individual, combining a quantitative outlook with the ability to organize stakeholders from across various disciplines.
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management, organizational, presentation, and influencing skills to effectively build relationships and align stakeholders
- An analytically-driven thinker who can perform business analysis and real-time tactical execution of priority initiatives
- Motivated self-starter, able to deal with ambiguity and comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and aligning the interests of multiple stakeholders

Salary Range: $175,000-225,000
