About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sales Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in Sydney or Melbourne. This pivotal role is integral to supporting our sales teams, including Client Executives, by enabling business growth, fostering customer engagement, and driving operational excellence.
You’ll support the execution and delivery of global programs, manage key operational processes, and ensure seamless onboarding for both customers and vendors. Additionally, you will collaborate with finance and leadership teams to develop accurate revenue forecasts and sales projections, playing a vital role in aligning operations with WWT’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Global Program Execution: Support the implementation and delivery of global programs, ensuring alignment with local customer needs and business objectives.
- Revenue Forecasting and Sales Projections: Collaborate with finance and leadership teams to support the creation of accurate revenue forecasts and projections that drive informed decision-making.
- Customer and Vendor Onboarding: Facilitate smooth onboarding processes for new customers and vendors, building strong initial relationships and ensuring compliance with organisational standards.
- Growth Enablement: Collaborate with Client Executives to identify opportunities, optimise sales operations, and support business growth.
- Customer Engagement: Partner with sales teams to address customer needs, foster engagement, and consistently exceed expectations.
- Vendor and Distributor Liaison: Build and maintain robust relationships with vendors and distributors, resolving issues and optimising workflows to support business goals.
- Quote Accuracy: Work with sales teams to produce precise, customer-aligned quotes that adhere to internal standards and contribute to successful deal closures.
- Invoicing and Reporting: Manage invoicing processes and provide actionable insights through detailed order and logistics reports.
- Supply Chain Support: Monitor and manage supply chain operations to ensure timely, efficient deliveries that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal departments, including logistics, finance, and supply chain, to align operations with organisational priorities.
- Timely Delivery: Ensure all commitments are delivered on time and to the highest standards, maintaining exceptional levels of service quality.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in sales operations, supply chain management, or a similar role within the technology or IT solutions industry.
- Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) for managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and customer relationship management.
- Demonstrated ability to support global programs or projects, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of vendor and distributor processes and the ability to manage complex workflows.
- Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
- Proficiency in order management systems, data reporting software, and other operational tools.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in customer and vendor onboarding processes is highly desirable.
