Own the numbers that run the business
Our client is a well established MSP that has been solving business problems for Australian mid-market organisations since 2002 and they are in a growth phase.
They can see what comes in the top of their sales funnel. They can see what closes. What happens in between is murkier than it should be, and that is where you come in.
What you will actually do
You will own the integrity of the revenue data from first touch to closed deal. That means the CRM is accurate because you make it accurate, and it means chasing sales and marketing for inputs they have been avoiding.
You will produce the weekly and monthly reporting the leadership team runs on, and present it to them once a month. They want your read on what changed and why, with the numbers behind it.
You will document sales process, spot the manual work worth removing, and specify it clearly enough for the CEO to automate it.
You will not need to build AI agents. You will need to recognise where one would help.
You report directly to the CEO, and you will have the mandate to change how this business runs.
What we are looking for
- Three or more years in revenue operations, sales operations, or commercial analysis, ideally in B2B services or technology.
- Genuine CRM ownership. You have been accountable for whether the data was right.
- A process you changed, that people adopted, and that stuck.
- Data skills to model a funnel properly. SQL, Power BI or equivalent.
- The temperament to chase people persistently and pleasantly. This is the hardest part of the job.
- Comfortable telling a CEO something they do not want to hear, with the data to back it.
Who this will not suit
If you need clean data before you can start, this is not for you. Their is not clean, and fixing it is the job.
Salary on offer
$95,000 to $115,000 base plus superannuation, depending on experience. Sydney based. You will be in the office full time for your first three months, because this role runs on relationships and those are built in person.
Hybrid after that. Direct access to the CEO and a real say in how they operate.
How to apply
Send your CV to Silvia at Balance and a note of no more than 300 words answering one question: describe a time the data you were given was wrong, how you found out, and what you did about it.
This will be part of the process.
