We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join Dotdigital Group PLC. As the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategy of the business, ensuring financial stability, and supporting our continued growth across our global markets.
This key leadership role will involve managing financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and guiding the overall financial planning for our customer experience platform. You will play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of the company and ensuring the financial health and success of Dotdigital Group PLC.
- Develop and implement the financial strategy aligned with the company’s objectives and growth targets.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and senior management team.
- Lead financial planning and analysis to support business decisions, including short and long-term financial projections, budgeting, and cost control.
- Actively assess strategic growth and M&A opportunities.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements in compliance with International Accounting Standards.
- Manage the financial reporting process, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and timeliness in all internal and external reporting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and governance standards including annual audits, risk and compliance.
- Identify areas for operational improvement and implement strategies to enhance cost efficiency and profitability across the business.
- Lead risk management efforts to identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial risks.
- Oversee treasury management, including cash flow, working capital, and financial risk hedging.
- Engage with investors, external auditors, and other stakeholders to build trust and maintain positive relationships.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support investor relations and fundraising efforts as needed.
- Lead and mentor the finance and legal team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Current finance and legal team of 38 people globally.
- Ensure the finance function operates efficiently and supports the business with actionable insights and data.
- Support strategic initiatives for business expansion, including identifying and evaluating potential acquisition opportunities.
- Provide financial due diligence and integration support for any acquisitions or partnerships.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in international accounting standards and financial regulations.
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
