Job Description
Menlo is looking for an energetic CFO to join us during our second year, rapid growth stages. You will have a front row seat in a fast moving AI startup with diverse business lines, working with smart and energetic engineers and researchers working to reshape the future.
Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy: Develop and manage comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to drive business growth and profitability
- Financial Reporting: Oversee financial reporting, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- External Relations: Work with CEO and founders on strategic partnerships and potential fundraising
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify and evaluate potential opportunities, negotiate deals
- Operational Efficiency: Optimize financial processes, streamline operations, and implement cost-saving initiatives to drive profitability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in a startup or growth-stage company
- Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
