📌Role Overview:
We are partnering with our client to find a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will take charge of the company’s financial operations. This role includes overseeing financial strategy, treasury functions, budgeting, forecasting, capital raising (equity and debt), investor relations, risk management, and supporting key departments like technology and product.
📌 Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a financial strategy aligned with the company's overarching goals.
- Analyze market trends to uncover opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
- Build financial models to evaluate the impact of new business initiatives, products, and services.
- Oversee the preparation of timely, accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Track key financial metrics, identifying trends and providing insights to leadership.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to guide business decisions and strategies.
- Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Implement strong internal controls and compliance frameworks.
- Lead capital management efforts and identify potential funding sources.
- Prepare financial models and presentations to support fundraising activities.
- Cultivate relationships with investors and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the technology team to enhance financial management systems and analytics tools.
- Leverage technology to streamline financial processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Build and lead a high-performance finance team with a focus on fintech expertise.
- Develop programs to enhance team knowledge of financial regulations and technological advancements.
📌Qualifications:
- Proven experience as CFO or VP of Finance in a fintech company.
- 7-10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or banking, particularly within fintech operations.
- Prior leadership experience managing a finance team.
📌Desirable Skills:
- CPA and/or MBA.
- Experience in a senior leadership role in a global organization.
