Job Responsibilities:
- Providing leadership , direction and management of the finance and accounting team
- Timely and accurate financial reporting
- Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk
- Prepare and review SGX announcement
- Ensure compliance to the SGX listing requirements and adherence to statutory and regulatory compliance
- Liaise with external auditor for submission of statutory audit report and relevant government authorities.
- Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends
- Supervise and guide the team to ensure compliance to accounting policies and standard operating procedures
- Hands-on with the team for monthly group consolidated account, financial and management reporting in accordance to internal / external requirements.
- Conducting review and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
- Analyse financial performance against key business metrics and financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets
- Review bank & other reconciliations
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy and/or ACCA / CPA (Certified Public Account)
- At least 15 years related working experiences, preferably in listed company and banking and financial industry is preferred.
- Candidate equipped with merger and acquisition experience is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous
- Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge in IFRS, Tax, SGX regulations and other regulatory requirements
