Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Center Manager located in Navi Mumbai. The Operations Center Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, handling client inquiries, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Master / Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Production/industrial/Electrical/Metallurgy/E&I/Civil, etc.), business management, or a related field.
Minimum 10-15 years of experience in third-party inspection services, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
In-depth knowledge of industry processes, standards, and inspection requirements.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proven track record in business development and client management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with international codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME, ASTM, ISO).
Proficiency in using inspection and reporting tools and Microsoft Office.
Experience in Operations Management, Staff Management, and Client Relationship Management
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Certifications:
Lead Auditor QMS AI, API, CSWIP, AWS, NACE, B-Gas, Saudi Aramco-QM Certification ASNT Level II or III in NDT methods PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certifications
Operational Leadership:
Supervise and manage regional inspection teams to ensure efficient execution of projects.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., API, ASME, ISO) and client requirements.
Monitor performance metrics, quality standards, and deliverables to meet project timelines.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project updates, challenges, and feedback.
Address and resolve client concerns promptly and professionally
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence.
Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure long-term agreements with key stakeholders
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and mentor inspection professionals to build a high-performing team.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement growth strategies for staff.
Ensure inspectors have appropriate certifications and training to meet project requirements.
Financial Oversight:
Manage regional budgets, control expenses, and optimize resources for maximum profitability.
Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and cost analyses for the region.
Compliance and Safety:
Promote a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance within the team. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and the company’s internal safety protocols.
Conduct audits and inspections to mitigate risks and maintain high safety standards.
