In the role of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for our organization, you will be pivotal in driving revenue growth and overseeing the strategic direction of our sales and marketing initiatives. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will leverage your core skills in revenue management, business development, and strategic planning to enhance our market position. Responsibilities:
- Research target accounts to identify sales and business development opportunities;
- Craft and conduct personalized outreach to initiate communication with key stakeholders within target accounts and deliver valuable content across multiple channels to nurture sales and business development opportunities;
- Lead sales and business development meetings from discovery calls and solution presentation to contract negotiations and signing;
- Lead local team through effective collaboration with cross-departmental stakeholders, such as technical sales engineers and deployment engineers, to unify understanding and deliver high-quality projects from data collection and on-site surveys to project deployment and go-live;
- Manage, track, and deliver regular reports on pipeline status and performance to ensure continuous improvement;
- Work with external partners to identify and execute joint sales and marketing strategies to drive channel growth;
- Work with partners and internal teams to set partnership goals and objectives and perform monthly and quarterly partner reviews of goals and adjust forecasts;
- Own team revenue targets and ensure wider sales goals are met within agreed-upon time constraints;
About You:
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or relevant experience; MBA preferred;
- 10+ years of experience in sales within a high-value, B2B environment and demonstrated success in growing revenue; experience selling within the warehousing industry preferred;
- Extensive knowledge of warehousing operations or WMS systems; high technical or engineering aptitude preferred;
- Strong social skills and excellent communication skills with an ability to adjust approaches based on the audience;
- Fluent in English; working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese preferred;
