Job Title: Sales Operations Specialist
Location: Winnipeg, MB
Reports To: Inside Sales Manager
Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000
Position Overview
The Sales Operations Specialist is a strategic partner to the Sales team, responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive performance. This role focuses on developing KPIs, optimizing sales processes, and aligning cross-functional initiatives to support growth. The Specialist plays a key role in forecasting, training, and strategic planning, ensuring the sales organization operates efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales and market data to identify trends, missed opportunities, and actionable insights.
- Create, manage, report, and adjust KPIs to optimize team performance.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify growth opportunities and implement process improvements.
- Lead efforts in forecasting, territory planning, and goal setting to ensure accurate projections and resource allocation.
- Work closely with Sales Managers, the Marketing Manager, and other departments to align initiatives and drive results.
- Review expense reports and ensure alignment with CRM schedules and activities.
- Support new initiatives and contribute to building and improving the Sales Operations function.
- Oversee onboarding and advanced training for new sales reps.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sales operations, sales support, or a related role.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools; tech-savvy with a strong grasp of automation and AI platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with KPI development and cross-departmental collaboration is a strong asset.
