Job Description: Global Go-to-Market Specialist - Digital Business Services Division

Role Overview:
The Global Go-to-Market (GTM) Lead for the Digital Business Services (DBS) division at HCLTechnologies will play a critical role in driving presales and GTM, working closely with account managers, practice leaders and technical subject matter experts to identify gaps in offerings, develop GTM strategies, and create compelling pitches for new deals. The role covers a broad spectrum of services, including Data, Analytics, AI, Digital Marketing, RPA and BPM, E-commerce, Application Modernization, Digital Engineering, and Digital Consulting.
Key Responsibilities:
P&L ownership:
- Carry revenue targets for an identified set of accounts for a given geography.
- Ensure high margins/profitability while achieving the set targets.
- Increase share of wallet in existing accounts, and acquire new logos as per targets.
Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute global GTM strategies for HCL's Digital Business Services.
- Conduct market analysis to identify key trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with service delivery, marketing, and sales teams to align service offerings with market demands.
Solutioning and Presales Support:
- Provide strategic support in presales activities, including crafting solution frameworks, defining value propositions, and engaging with clients to present tailored solutions.
Market Execution:
- Drive the execution of GTM plans, ensuring timely and successful launch of new services and solutions.
- Coordinate with regional teams to tailor strategies to local markets while maintaining global consistency.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of GTM initiatives, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with account managers and client partners to position Digital Business Services offerings in both proactive and reactive opportunities.
- Develop and support strategic sales initiatives, including crafting compelling value propositions and sales pitches.
- Engage with customers and partners to gather feedback and insights to inform GTM strategies.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective promotional activities and campaigns.
Thought Leadership:
- Act as a subject matter expert on digital business services and GTM best practices.
- Represent HCL Technologies at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
- Produce thought leadership content, including white papers, articles, and presentations.
Performance Measurement:
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on GTM performance and market
- Identify areas for improvement and innovation in GTM strategies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in go-to-market strategy and execution, preferably within the IT services industry for customers across Americas and Europe.
- Strong understanding of digital business services, including Data, Analytics, AI, Digital Marketing, RPA and BPM, E-commerce, Application Modernization, Digital Engineering, and Digital Consulting.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the IT services landscape, with proven experience in both Digital Business Services.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, ITIL, PMP) would be an advantage.
