Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive financial strategy, governance, and performance.
The Role
As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping financial outcomes, capital allocation, and business transformation strategies. Reporting to the CEO and Board, you will be responsible for:
- Leading financial strategy, reporting, and capital management to maximize shareholder returns.
- Driving performance across portfolio companies, leveraging financial insights to optimize returns on capital.
- Providing strategic financial leadership in M&A, capital raising, and investment decision-making.
- Establishing best-practice financial governance, risk management, and compliance in a listed environment.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing finance team.
- Engaging with investors, analysts, and the Board to ensure transparency and alignment on financial strategy.
Your Background & Expertise
The ideal candidate will be a highly commercial and detail-oriented financial leader, capable of operating in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. You will bring:
- 10+ years' experience in financial leadership, preferably within private equity, investment management, or high-growth businesses.
- A strong track record of driving returns and business transformation through strategic financial leadership.
- A CA qualification (or equivalent), with deep expertise in financial analysis, capital management, and risk.
- An intellectually curious mindset, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and value creation.
- Strong technical acumen and attention to detail, ensuring financial integrity and compliance.
- A self-starter mentality, capable of leading teams and influencing at the executive and Board level.
- A passion for investments, capital allocation, and long-term value creation.
