Position Overview
Teeshaa seeks a Business Operations Associate to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and support the scaling of our luxury design marketplace. This role involves optimizing cross-functional workflows, managing vendor/partner relationships, and leveraging data-driven insights to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Optimization
Analyze and redesign operational workflows (order fulfillment, inventory management, artisan onboarding) to reduce costs and improve turnaround times.
Develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for key processes like returns, international shipping, and artisan payments.
Implement automation tools (e.g., Pabbly, ERP systems) to minimize manual tasks.
2. Vendor & Partner Management
Negotiate contracts with logistics providers, payment gateways, and artisan collectives to ensure cost-efficiency and quality.
Monitor vendor performance (SLAs for shipping, defect rates) and resolve escalations.
Build relationships with global artisans and designers to streamline product onboarding.
3. Data Analysis & Reporting
Track KPIs such as order fulfillment time, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and artisan retention rates.
Generate dashboards (Tableau, Google Looker Studio) to provide actionable insights to leadership.
Conduct A/B tests for pricing strategies, shipping options, and marketplace layouts.
4. Marketplace Operations
Oversee inventory syncing across platforms (website, Amazon, Etsy) to prevent overselling.
Optimize product listing workflows for SEO and conversion rate (e.g., image tagging, pricing - tiers).
Collaborate with the tech team to resolve platform integration issues.
5. Strategic Initiatives
Support new market launches (e.g., EU, Middle East) by analyzing regulations, tariffs, and logistics.
Design loyalty programs or subscription models to boost repeat purchases.
Identify risks in supply chains (e.g., material shortages) and propose mitigation strategies.
Required Skills
Proficiency in data analysis tools: Excel/Google Sheets, Tableau, SQL.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite) and project management tools (Asana, Jira).
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Knowledge of e-commerce operations (inventory management, logistics, CRM).
Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA in Operations/Supply Chain Management, Luxury Brand Management.
3+ years in e-commerce or luxury retail operations.
Experience with global logistics and customs compliance.
