As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, improving operational efficiencies, and supporting long-term business objectives.
The CFO will take full ownership of the financial strategy and operations, ensuring strong financial governance while driving business performance and value creation. This is a hands-on role that requires a commercially focused finance leader with a deep understanding of multi-site businesses and private equity environments.
Key Requirements
Experience & Background
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader within a private equity-backed, multi-site business.
- A strong track record in M&A, fundraising, and financial restructuring.
- Experience leading high-growth and scaling businesses in a fast-paced environment.
Technical & Leadership Skills
- Strong understanding of multi-site financial models, including reimbursement structures and regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing site rollouts, capital expenditure, and contract negotiations.
- Commercially astute with a focus on profitability, efficiency, and value creation.
- Ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing finance teams across multiple locations.
Stakeholder & Investor Relations
- Previous experience working with private equity investors and board-level reporting.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage both financial and operational stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with growth objectives.
- Partner with the CEO and investors to drive value creation and operational improvements.
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting to support decision-making.
Operational & Commercial Finance
- Enhance financial controls and reporting across multiple sites to improve visibility and performance.
- Drive EBITDA growth through margin improvement, cost control, and operational efficiencies.
- Implement best-in-class financial systems and processes to support business scalability.
Private Equity & Investor Management
- Act as the primary financial liaison between the company and private equity investors.
- Deliver high-quality board reporting and investor presentations.
- Ensure financial transparency and compliance with private equity-backed reporting requirements.
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure regulatory and financial compliance across all business locations.
- Lead audit processes and manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and tax advisors.
- Develop robust risk management frameworks to protect financial integrity.
