Specialist, Sales Operations - Salesforce Administrator
Overview
Responsible for owning and delivering cloud-based solutions using Salesforce.com and must demonstrate progressive leadership in the software development environment's full life cycle. This role exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Role
- Develop custom applications using Salesforce.com and integrating Salesforce.com with other systems.
- Lead the planning of application changes, development, and installation of upgrades and new releases. Develop, document, and enforce application standards and procedures.
- Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternatives and on the implications of new or revised processing analysis.
- Execute a plan to improve the user experience, promote adoption, and monitor and improve policies and compliance.
- Translate business needs into effective tools within Salesforce.
- Identify and confirm technical design risks and develop mitigating approaches.
- Maintain, enhance, and optimize sales productivity tools, including Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, LeanData and other sales systems.
- Lead multiple technical projects at one time and deliver solutions that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable on the Force.com platform.
- Maximize the value from Salesforce and make decision on in-built vs custom build solutions.
- Identify opportunities to simplify business processes and increase effectiveness.
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager's discretion.
All About You
- Development and administration experience with Salesforce
- Knowledge of options and how to handle security requirements such as single sign-on
- Ability to define the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end-state and deliver a solution.
- Bachelor’s degree desired; or equivalent education and/or related work experience.
- Experience with Release Management and Deployment concepts and technologies
- Salesforce.com integration experience, including between different business systems as well as working with integration tools.
- Experience managing a project or serving as a project team lead on the implementation of an enterprise system.
- Experience using Visual force and Apex (Apex Builder, Apex API, Apex Code).
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, provide documentation, guidance, and instruction to users at all levels.
- Attention to detail and accuracy must be exceptional, with a constant drive to provide more efficiency to the organization.
- Excellent oral, presentation, and written communications skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with SQL and Python
- Experience with cloud storage and ETL systems
