JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Senior Director, Sales Operations to optimize our Go-To-Market (GTM) operations for new District acquisition, streamline processes, and ensure excellence in responding to RFPs and funding opportunities. This role is critical in driving organizational effectiveness, supporting sales initiatives, and helping us achieve the Think Together mission. The person will report to the SVP, Partner Success & Innovation, and will work day-to-day closely with the Chief Revenue Officer driving the new business Victory Plan.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
- Strategic Planning and Execution ○ Build, manage, and measure Think Together’s Sales Victory Plan, aligning sales operations with the organization’s goals. ○ Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and support revenue generating activities.
- Deal Desk and RFP Management ○ Lead the Deal Desk function by coordinating and responding to RFPs and funding opportunities. ○ Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., program directors, finance, and legal) to craft competitive and compliant proposals. ○ Streamline the RFP review and approval process to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Process Optimization and Automation ○ Oversee and optimize operational processes, automating wherever possible to reduce manual tasks, including pricing, contracts, and proposal preparation.
- Data and Analytics ○ Provide reporting, analytics, and insights to support decision-making and improve forecasting. ○ Ensure relevant metrics (e.g., pipeline, proposal success rates) are available and accessible to leadership.
- Sales Training & Onboarding ○ Develop and oversee comprehensive onboarding and continuous training programs to ensure the sales team is equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools to succeed.
- Quota and Territory Management ○ Assist in quota setting, territory management, and opportunity allocation for teams. ○ Ensure alignment of targets with organizational objectives and resources.
- Operational Excellence ○ Facilitate quarterly business reviews and bi-weekly pipeline discussions to track progress and identify opportunities. ○ Coordinate organizational readiness for new district opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Technology and Tools ○ Ensure the effective use of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to improve productivity. ○ Establish standards, key metrics, and trends for better data-driven decisionmaking.
- Team Collaboration and Communication ○ Act as a central point of coordination between fundraising, program, and leadership teams to drive alignment. ○ Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Experience ○ 5-10+ years of experience in strategic initiatives, project management, program management, learning programs, business operations, or a similar role (experience in the non-profit sector is a plus). ○ Demonstrated success in responding to RFPs and managing proposal processes.
- Skills ○ Exceptional organizational and project management skills. ○ Strong analytical capabilities with a data-driven mindset. ○ Proficient with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and proposal management tools. ○ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

COMPENSATION
- $150,000-$165,000 annual salary
