This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly scaling, founder-led SaaS business at a genuinely exciting point in its growth journey. With approximately $30m in annual revenue and a target of $52m this year, the business is growing quickly.
As CFO, you will be a commercially minded finance leader who understands SaaS metrics, the funding environment and what excellent finance looks like in a high-growth technology business.
You’ll take ownership of the finance function while working closely with the founders and leadership team to strengthen financial rigour, drive performance and help shape the next phase of growth. You’ll also play an important role in preparing the business for its next stage of capital raising and engaging with investors and the Board.
Position
You’ll be CA/CPA qualified with strong technical accounting and financial management capability, but equally comfortable moving beyond the numbers to influence commercial and strategic decisions.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience in a SaaS environment and strong fluency in SaaS metrics and economics.
- Strong technical accounting, financial reporting and FP&A capability.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to translate financial and operational data into clear decisions and actions.
- Experience scaling finance processes, systems, controls and teams through rapid growth.
- Experience supporting capital raises, ideally including Series B funding, and confidence engaging with investors and advisors.
- An understanding of the key drivers of SaaS growth, profitability, capital efficiency and valuation.
- Strong systems capability and genuine curiosity around AI and automation.
- Experience leading a high-performing finance function and partnering closely with a CEO/founders and leadership team.

You challenge constructively and bring a commercial perspective to decision-making. You get into the detail when required, but know when to step back and look at the bigger picture.
You’re comfortable dealing with ambiguity, moving quickly and figuring things out as you go. You can communicate complex financial and commercial issues clearly to founders, the leadership team, Board and investors.
Most importantly, you have energy, intellectual curiosity and a genuine team-first attitude.
