We are seeking an ambitious, self-motivated and talented individual that wants to join a high-quality team aiming to achieve something great over the next decade. The individual will join our team as Business Operations Manager to support and elevate our operating companies' processes and procedures. Reporting directly to the Founder & Managing Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving Kinrock's success over the next decade as we grow organically and inorganically.
The ideal candidate will blend three things:

The role is office-based with a minimum of four days a week in our head office in London.

Responsibilities
- Own our CRM group-wide (supporing account management/sales teams at our four operating companies) in collaboration with our Marketing Manager
- You'll champion our people-first approach with high-quality people operations until we hire a dedicated People professional
- Be point of contact for all group-wide external providers (IT, HR, insurance, etc.)
- Own compliance across the group with the help of external advisors (GDPR, HR, H&S)
- Documentation and improvement policies and procedures across the group to increase efficiency and client outcomes
- Support the operating companies respond to supplier diligence requests from new clients
- Own contingency and business continuity planning across the operating companies
- Manage our offices in London, Bristol and Edinburgh with the help of local team members and contractors
Requirements
Mandatory:

- You have a demonstrable track record of going the extra mile to achieve excellence and make things better
- Despite your aptitude and expertise you understand the importance of being hands-on and no task is beneath you - it's how you're wired
- You have 2-5 years of experience in business operations at a small- or medium-sized company or as a hands-on business consultant
- You understand CRMs (ideally Hubspot) and have experience using them to make operations better
- You understand the importance of high-quality people operations (onboarding, performance management, employee comms, events)
- You have a experience documenting and improving operational processes and are passionate about it
- You are highly personable and can create genuine buy-in from stakeholders for your ideas and suggestions
- Some experience with video editing, animation, or interactive design.
- Basic knowledge of AI-driven content creation tools (e.g., Synthesia, ChatGPT, or automation tools).
- Interest in digital learning and instructional design principles.
- Knowledge of web content creation and accessibility best practices.
Optional:
- Experience with companies that sell services under annual subscription contracts
- Knowledge of Hubspot
- Automation expertise (e.g. Zapier)
- Experience with people operations admin
- Familiarity with AI
