Chief Financial Officer
Today 49% of the world live on less than £5 a day. We are not ok with that. This is why we have devised a self-sustaining charitable business model, that leverages business as an aid accelerator. Where most charities return 65p to the pound, we can yield 2:1 in our first year alone. We are seeking a visionary, philanthropically minded, highly efficient CFO to harness the financial power of our three for profit business’s that are purpose built to fund the work of our humanitarian and our ecological charities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Financial Strategic Leadership: Craft, implement and oversee comprehensive financial strategies that align with both our business objectives and philanthropic mission.
· Budget Management: Manage budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while maintaining strict fiscal discipline.
· Financial Reporting: Create, Implement and Deliver transparent and insightful financial reports to executive leadership, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
· Investment Oversight: Direct investment activities to optimize returns while supporting our commitment to social and environmental impact initiatives.
· Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement robust strategies to mitigate them effectively.
· Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of creative and production focussed individuals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives that enhance both business performance and charitable outcomes.
- Strong Ability to Source Funding: from grants, donors, property managers, and legal claims
- Cash Flow Optimization: Develop strategies to improve cash flow by efficiently managing invoicing schedules, credit policies, collections, and new incomes streams.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
· A minimum of 10 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles within complex organizations.
· A successful track record in strategic planning, financial management, and risk mitigation.
· An unwavering commitment to ethical practices and social responsibility.
· The ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
