Business Operations Manager (m/f/x)

As a Business Operations Manager, you will work directly with the management team to solve and scale the most important projects in the business. You will report directly to the COO overseeing all aspects of the business performance and planning across growth, kitchen, and operations. You will also collaborate with the CEO and Growth Team on strategic initiatives, including market research and competitor analysis.
Your Role
- Act as the right-hand to the COO, driving cross-functional improvements and ensuring strong alignment across the business.
- Champion cost optimization by collaborating with kitchen teams on meal selection and supplier relationships, enhancing overall purchasing efficiency.
- Support the CEO and Growth Team on business-critical initiatives, such as researching new opportunities, analyzing competitors, and identifying potential partnerships with large catering firms.
- Own key financial processes, from creating B2B invoices and preparing data for external accountants to producing weekly and monthly P&L reports.
- Lead strategic improvement projects—whether operational, financial, or tech-focused—identifying opportunities and executing on initiatives that streamline our operations.
Your Profile
- 2+ years of professional experience—preferably in consulting, investment banking, a startup, or a similarly agile environment that requires strategic thinking and adaptability. (If you don’t meet this exact requirement but feel you’re a strong fit, we still want to hear from you!)
- Bachelor's degree—preferably in a quantitative field (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science)
- Native-level German proficiency—you’ll be interfacing with local suppliers and stakeholders.
- High attention to detail—you catch the small things that others might miss.
- High level of autonomy and ownership—you take initiative and see projects through to completion.
- Willingness to get hands dirty—you’re ready to step in wherever needed.
- Nice to have: Food industry experience
