Help Shape the Future of Our Family Business
We’re looking for a hands-on, forward-thinking Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our business and help lead our team towards continued growth.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established family company with a fantastic local reputation. We operate from a flint barn in the countryside just north of Chichester, surrounded by fields - and a few llamas across the road.
If you’re motivated by targets, enjoy problem-solving, and have a passion for systems, people, and continuous improvement - we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role
We’ve built Chichester Shutters into a successful, systems-led business that delivers high-quality service and earns consistent 5-star reviews. Now we’re looking for someone to optimise and lead what we’ve built - bringing energy, structure and focus as we push the business forward.
You’ll manage a team of 11 (including five office staff, two surveyors and four fitters) and work alongside the Directors. You’ll also collaborate closely with our Marketing & Systems Team to ensure a consistent flow of leads and smooth delivery throughout the customer journey.
This is a target-driven role. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the team meets key business objectives - using scorecards and data to track progress, adjust where needed, and keep everyone aligned and motivated.
You’ll also be the go-to person when things don’t go to plan - supporting the team, handling complex customer situations, and ensuring standards remain high.
This role offers the potential to evolve into a more senior leadership position as the business grows.
