Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of the organization, ensuring financial health, and driving sustainable growth. Duties
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the revenue cycle to optimize cash flow and enhance profitability.
- Lead treasury management activities, including cash forecasting, investment strategies, and risk management.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports to the board of directors and senior leadership.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks impacting financial performance.
- Collaborate with other executives to drive strategic planning initiatives across the organization.
- Mentor and develop finance team members to build a high-performing department.
Experience
- Extensive experience in senior leadership roles within finance or accounting functions.
- Experienced in head start program
- Experienced in child welfare
- Extensive experience in non profit management
- Proven expertise in strategic planning, tax accounting, corporate accounting, revenue cycle management, and treasury management.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional skills in financial report writing with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough market analysis and revenue management strategies.
- A track record of successfully leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
