We're hiring a Manager, Business Operations & Implementation to lead the design, enhancement, development, and rollout of our internal systems and processes. You'll play a critical role in creating the operational infrastructure that drives clarity, consistency, and growth. From onboarding and SOPs to workflows, tools, and templates, you’ll help turn complexity into structure and support our team's ability to move fast, stay aligned, and deliver at a high level.
This role demands both strategic thinking and practical execution. You'll collaborate closely with the COO and senior leadership to translate company-wide priorities into operational systems that work day in, day out. If you bring a disciplined mindset, a builder's instinct, and a clear vision for how significant operations should run, you’ll find yourself at the center of one of Atlantic Canada’s most dynamic strategy firms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, document, and maintain internal SOPs, workflows, templates, and operational guides
- Lead the rollout and optimization of internal systems across departments (e.g. Monday.com, CRMs, GSuite)
- Develop structured onboarding processes using LMS tools, flows, and automation to reduce ramp-up time and increase consistency
- Collaborate with the COO to monitor strategic implementation and maintain visibility through dashboards and reports
- Track day-to-day operational execution and proactively identify gaps, inefficiencies, or points of risk
- Support the full operational cycle, including HR, Finance, Project Management, and Resource Coordination, by developing systems, surfacing gaps, and reinforcing alignment
- Coordinate and deliver internal team trainings related to systems, tools, and workflow expectations
- Assist with time tracking, capacity management, and scheduling across multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure accurate documentation of permissions, system access, file structure, and organizational tools
- Support internal administration and coordination with finance, HR, and resource management as needed
- Champion operational excellence that is people-first, system-strong, and technology-enabled
Your Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years in business operations, implementation, systems design, or project coordination
- Proven experience building and maintaining SOPs, workflows, templates, and knowledge systems
- Confident in the configuration and day-to-day use of platforms like Monday.com, CRMs, QuickBooks, GSuite, etc.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean, or other continuous improvement frameworks—certification is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into structure, designing scalable systems that work in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and documentation skills with the ability to clarify expectations and drive alignment
- Experience supporting hiring and onboarding cycles, including tool setup, process integration, and team readiness
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities, you thrive in structure, but work fluidly with change
- Experience in creative, consulting, or cross-functional environments is a strong asset

- You anticipate breakdowns before they happen—bringing structure and foresight to busy, high-output environments
- You thrive in collaborative settings—balancing clarity, responsiveness, and strong follow-through
- You understand that great operations often go unseen, but are essential to every success
- You operate with focus, integrity, and momentum, making it easier for others to do their best work
