Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – UK Subsidiary of a Leading Chinese Technology Enterprise
Fanjia Group founded in 2009, our parent company in China is an established technology enterprise dedicated to delivering comprehensive business travel solutions and corporate procurement supply chain services to corporate clients.
We have recently established our UK subsidiary and are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial strategy, operations, and governance as we scale in the UK and European markets. This role is ideal for a proven financial leader who can guide a high-growth business from early-stage operations to a mature, high-performing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute financial strategies to support rapid growth and long-term scalability.
- Oversee all UK financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance.
- Lead tax planning and ensure full compliance with UK and international financial regulations.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and regulatory authorities.
- Provide strategic financial insights to the executive team to inform critical business decisions.
- Drive fundraising initiatives and manage capital allocation to support expansion.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial planning with operational objectives.
- Act as a key liaison between the UK business and our Chinese headquarters, ensuring alignment with group financial policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in senior financial leadership roles, with at least 5 years in team management.
- Demonstrated success as a CFO (or equivalent) in both startup and scaling/growth-stage environments.
- Strong understanding of financial operations in the travel, procurement, or technology sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of UK financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards.
- Proven experience building financial infrastructure and leading organisational scaling.
- Strategic mindset with exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience in cross-border operations and working within a group company structure.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders in both the UK and China.
- Mandarin proficiency is highly desirable.

Competitive and commensurate with experience.

Pay: £50,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
