We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and operations of our organization in West Des Moines, Iowa. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial management, relationship building, and strategic planning to drive growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee all financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure organizational goals are met.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with business banking partners and other financial stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives related to mergers and acquisitions (M& A), including analysis, negotiation, and integration.
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial models to support decision-making and strategic growth.
- Respond to inbound financial inquiries and provide expert guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health insurance regulations and other financial policies impacting the organization.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify opportunities for operational and financial improvement.
- Drive strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing profitability and long-term financial sustainability.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to proactively adjust financial strategies.
- Guide the organization through complex financial transitions and investments.
- Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, such as CFO, with a track record of success.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage business banking relationships and negotiate financial terms.
- In-depth knowledge of mergers and acquisitions (M& A) processes and integration strategies.
- Familiarity with health insurance policies and their financial implications.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or CPA preferred.
