A Chief Financial Officer (CFO) job in Euclid, OH is currently available through PRADCO. You will partner with our client's COO to shape the company's future, drive strategic expansion, and uphold their legacy of excellence. You will be a trusted confidant and strategic advisor to the COO, steering the company through a transformative phase as we navigate a leadership transition and pursue aggressive growth. This role demands a bold, innovative leader who can oversee financial operations, including accounting, while championing cutting-edge technologies and creative funding strategies to realize the COOs vision. You will manage company finances, challenge ideas constructively, and build trust through integrity, ensuring fiscal strength and market leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Oversight: Oversee accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, potentially managing an accounting manager to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, supply chain finance, and ERP systems.
- Strategic Partnership: Serve as a close confidant to the COO, providing financial insights and candid feedback to shape the long-term vision, including new product launches, market expansion, and operational scaling.
- Financial Leadership: Develop and execute a forward-thinking financial strategy, aligning capital allocation, investments, and forecasting with growth objectives.
- Innovative Funding: Identify and implement creative funding solutions, such as industry grants or strategic partnerships, to fuel projects like new fitting designs or international distribution.
- Technology Adoption: Lead the integration of advanced financial technologies, such as AI-driven forecasting, blockchain for supply chain finance, or ERP enhancements, to modernize operations and enhance decision-making.
- Growth Initiatives: Drive financial planning for strategic initiatives, including new product development or entry into new markets, while optimizing manufacturing cost structures.
- Risk Management: Proactively mitigate risks, including intellectual property protection (e.g., patent licensing agreements), supply chain disruptions, and economic volatility, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders, including family owners, board members, and external partners, fostering transparency and trust.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and alignment with the company's family-owned values.
- Intellectual Property and Partnerships: Collaborate with legal teams to structure agreements (e.g., NDAs, licensing deals) that safeguard IP and ensure favorable terms in strategic partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. MBA strongly preferred.
- CPA Certification.
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role (CFO or equivalent), ideally in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Proven expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and hands-on accounting oversight, with a track record of driving profitability.
- Experience with innovative financial technologies (e.g., AI analytics, blockchain) and creative funding models (e.g., grants, partnerships).
- Demonstrated ability to manage growth initiatives, such as market expansion, strategic acquisitions, or new product development.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge ideas constructively and build trust as a confidant to the COO.

- Knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, supply chain finance, and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with IP agreements and contract negotiations in manufacturing, particularly for fittings or industrial products.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in fittings or industrial manufacturing sectors.
- Understanding of Visual Books accounting software built within Estitracks ERP System.
- Experience in international markets.
- Production machine shop experience, with familiarity in precision manufacturing processes such as CNC machining or tooling.
- Background in navigating leadership transitions or family-owned business dynamics.
- Expertise in managing strategic partnerships or NDAs (e.g., with distributors or suppliers).

Pay: $150,000.00 - $215,000.00 per year
