Duties
- Gather data from Sales, Engineering, Project Management and PLM to be used to add to or modify Excel and / or ERP & CPQ platform data
- Data may include costs, images, engineering drawings, documents, technical specifications, corporate policy and procedure, quality documents etc.
- Utilize Excel or software packages to configure CPQ tools for use by Sales and Proposal Engineering (PE) teams
- Utilize Excel to configure QRM tools for PE team
- Create reports (manual or generated) from ERP and / or HubSpot to provide analysis data for PLM team. Reports will be used to facilitate PLM discussions with sales, marketing and engineering including product offerings, sub-assemblies or optional components, and standardization discussions.
- Update PLM documentation as needed under the guidance of the PLM (specifications, procedures, flowcharts, checklists or guides)
- Support other PLM initiatives (training, communications, analysis, etc.)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (e.g., Sciences, Business, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, etc.).
Experience
- 1 or more years of professional experience in a business environment (internships or co-ops in a manufacturing or sales operations environment are acceptable).
- Exposure to CPQ or ERP platforms such as Epicor CPQ, Oracle CPQ, SAP, or Salesforce is desirable but not required.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel will be essential; experience with data analysis or reporting tools is a plus.
- Basic understanding of cost processes, product catalog and configuration, and quote generation.
- Willingness to learn business application systems, logic building, or rule-based configuration tools used in CPQ platforms.
- Familiarity with manufacturing product structures, BOMs, or product catalogs.
Analytical & Business Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and document business requirements and translate them into system logic.
- Interest in sales enablement, product management and configuration, and process automation.
