About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial function and drive sustainable growth across a diversified group of businesses. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong experience in managing funds, driving profitability, implementing investment strategies, and supporting multiple business verticals such as construction, consulting, and other sectors within a conglomerate.
This role requires a visionary professional who can not only manage financial operations but also play a pivotal role in shaping the overall business strategy and scaling the organization’s financial health for the long term.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy & Planning
- Raise Funds
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization’s growth objectives.
- Drive profitability and optimize Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and cash flow.
- Evaluate and execute investment strategies to support expansion and diversification.
- Fund Management & Capital Allocation
- Manage working capital, fundraising, and allocation of resources across business units.
- Build relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions to secure funding.
- Monitor capital structure and debt/equity requirements.
Business Partnering
- Act as a strategic advisor to the Board on financial performance and opportunities.
- Support diversified business lines (construction, transport,consulting, and other ventures) with tailored financial insights.
- Partner with business heads to evaluate ROI on new initiatives and projects.
- Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure robust financial controls, compliance with regulations, and adherence to corporate governance standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Leadership & Transformation
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Introduce best practices in financial reporting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
- Drive digital transformation and automation within finance processes.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as CFO / Head of Finance / Group Finance Leader in a diversified conglomerate or multi-business environment.
- Strong expertise in fund management, investment strategies, profitability management, and ARR tracking.
- Exposure to industries such as construction, consulting, or diversified business portfolios.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capability – able to “drive the show as a whole”.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
- CA / CPA or equivalent qualification.
