The Controller oversees all things accounting, including preparing financial statements, all things payroll, banking relationships, bank reconciliations, sales taxes, a/r collections, receivables, payables, etc, The accounting dept includes four employees besides the Account Manager
The Controller also oversees the employee benefits (health, life, vision, dental, profit sharing/401k), commercial insurance renewals, fixed asset administration including property tax filings, government compliance, phone and computer technology with heavy reliance on outside vendors, accumulation of data for BKD for tax returns.
The ideal candidate would have 4-6 years of accounting experience, enjoys working with people, and must be extremely trustworthy.
