Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, reporting, and compliance, while ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency across all processes. The position requires strong technical accounting skills, deep knowledge of revenue cycle procedures, and the ability to deliver timely insights that drive strategic decision-making. The individual will act as a key partner to leadership, lenders, and auditors, ensuring financial integrity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and execute accrual processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive financial statements, including the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee and optimize revenue cycle procedures, ensuring timely collections and compliance with best practices.
- Produce and present monthly operating and financial reviews, along with quarterly board reporting packages.
- Oversee anesthesia billing and collections, including patient billing, insurance reimbursement, and denial management.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to align financial plans with operational goals.
- Oversee implementation and optimization of accounting systems and software tools.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles.
- Experience in revenue cycle management including billing, collections, reimbursement processes and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of accrual-based accounting principles and practices.
- Experience working within a healthcare PPM environment, supporting initiatives and strategic planning.
- Proven expertise in financial strategy, reporting, and operational leadership.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite or equivalent.
