Sales & Operations Administrator – Full Time
Location: Crawley, West Sussex (on-site only)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break)

Salary: Up £28,000 per year (depending on experience)

JP Supplies is a family-run business with over 36 years of trading history. We supply PPE, safety footwear, janitorial and cleaning products, office supplies, and a wide range of workplace essentials.

About the Role
This is a varied position where no two days are the same. You’ll be mainly office-based, helping with admin and sales support, but you’ll also get involved in the warehouse and shop when needed.
Approximate breakdown:
- 70% office-based: admin, customer service and sales support
- 15% warehouse: checking stock, picking orders and preparing shipments
- 15% shop floor: serving customers and helping with general enquiries
Main Responsibilities
- Processing customer orders (by phone, email and in person)
- Entering orders into our Intact software (training provided)
- Providing helpful, friendly customer service
- Checking stock deliveries and placing supplier orders
- Picking and preparing outgoing orders
- Answering calls and handling sales queries
- Keeping paperwork and digital records up to date
- Assisting with promotions and updates on our website
- General office admin as needed
- Supporting day-to-day operations and helping improve internal processes
What We’re Looking For
- Previous admin or customer service experience preferred (but not essential)
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Friendly and professional communication skills
- A team player with a hands-on attitude
- Comfortable managing different tasks in a busy environment
- Able to lift and handle light stock when needed
- Reliable, punctual and eager to learn
- This role is best suited to someone with at least 1–2 years of experience in an administrative, operations, or sales support position
